Pismo Beach, California – The annual Pismo Beach Clam Festival is set to take place on October 19-20, 2024. This community tradition, which has been a staple since 1946, continues to attract families and visitors from all around to spend two days overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Pismo Beach.
Event Highlights
The family-friendly event features the Clam Festival parade on Saturday morning at 10am along Price Street. Admission to the festival is free and includes a variety of attractions:

- A large Kids Zone with bounce houses and inflatables
Clam Chowder Cook-Off
Saturday’s local clam chowder cook-off contest is a crowd favorite. Pismo Beach restaurants compete for the title of Best Local Clam Chowder Winner, with attendees able to vote for the People’s Choice winner. This year’s competitors include:

Learn to Surf Clinic
