Dogs are welcome with a fee of $75 per stay, for a maximum of two dogs. This fee includes amenities such as a dog bed, treats, and a water bowl.

2. Big Sur Dream Home – Carmel

The Big Sur Dream Home is a cute cabin with a hot tub and can be the best accommodation for a couple, looking to enjoy a romantic trip together. The house can host two guests and it offers two bedrooms, two beds, and one bathroom.
The location of the house is blessed with sunlight the entire day, and it offers all the privacy you need. You can sunbathe during the day in the beautiful backyard but you can also admire the stars at night in complete silence.

The Resort has 2 restaurants – The Lodge Restaurant (focusing on local, seasonal ingredients, with indoor and outdoor dining options featuring ocean views and a wood-burning fireplace), and The Sushi Bar with an exclusive Omakase experience with a fifteen-course tasting menu.
Treebones is off grid. They produce their own limited power, therefore unable to charge electric vehicles. So keep that in mind. There is also no cell phone reception. But there is an outdoor pay phone.
While the north hw1 is remains closed the resort is accessible from hw1-south.

The Goat Farm is big enough to accommodate four people in its generous two bedrooms.
Here you will be surrounded by animals and art, and you will get educated on farm life in the most pleasant manner. The ranch is fully functional, and it has goats, cows, horses, sheep, and chickens. Inside the house, you will find a functional kitchen that you can use to make all kinds of meals, a bathroom with everything you need as well as a washer and a dryer to do your laundry.
The ocean view is visible from both bedrooms, and the joy is present all around you with so many animals and cheerful hosts.
The farm is only one mile away from Big Sur Bakery and walking distance from Pfeiffer State Park and the beach. There are amazing walking areas from the property to other attractions in the region, and you can go explore some local trails if you are into hiking.
Considering all the animals at the farm, the host doesn’t allow pets. But you will be surrounded by many joyful creatures, and you can get as involved as you want in farm life. So, you will not have time to become nostalgic and miss your furry friend at home. On the other hand, if you are traveling with children, here you will find everything you need to keep your little one entertained. There are even books and toys they can play with and a highchair for the little ones. The accommodation offers free Wifi and free parking, but there is no TV.
