This Treehouse Is Just 90 Minutes From San Francisco, And It’s Pure Magic

Eagle's Nest

What if I told you there’s a treehouse just 90 minutes from San Francisco that feels like it’s been pulled straight from a fantasy?

Meet Eagle’s Nest Treehouse Farm Stay, a luxurious wilderness retreat tucked away in a private redwood forest on a 400-acre ranch. Yes, it’s as magical as it sounds.

Treehouse Goals: Redwoods, Luxury, and Unbeatable Views

At 30 feet above the ground, you’re living in a literal treehouse kingdom. Built from ancient 1,000-year-old polished redwood, this treehouse offers way more than just a cool place to crash. Imagine a spacious suite with a cozy queen-sized bed, electricity to fuel your coffee maker, and a copper-glass shower that basically feels like you’re bathing in the forest (because you are). Add a wrap-around porch where you can sit back and take in the untouched beauty of the surrounding woods, and you’ve got yourself the ultimate retreat.

This treehouse isn’t just a place to sleep—it’s an experience.

Forget Wi-Fi, This Is a True Off-the-Grid Adventure

Here’s the best part: there’s no constant pinging from your inbox or newsfeed. You’re in the middle of the woods, with spotty cell service, and zero broadband to distract you. You can finally disconnect and actually enjoy the peace and quiet without the pressure of constant notifications. Sure, if you’re desperate for a signal, a hike up the hill might give you a few bars, but let’s be real—you’re not here for that.

A Ranch Full of Surprises

This place isn’t just about the treehouse, though. You’ll be staying on a fully working ranch with Highland cattle, goats, and ducks casually roaming the land. You can get a tour of the ranch, learn a little something about farm life, or take a stroll through miles of forested trails. It’s the kind of place where you can actually breathe again. And for those craving a little extra adventure, the Sonoma Coast is just a short drive away.

Here’s What Guests Are Saying

One guest called it “the most magical and lovely place to stay,” and that’s no exaggeration. Another guest? They described it as “everything you wanted as your childhood treehouse times eleventy million.” Yep, it’s that good. The blend of modern amenities and total immersion in nature is what sets Eagle’s Nest apart from anything else you’ve experienced.

Don’t Overthink It—This Is the Escape You’ve Been Waiting For

If you’ve been craving a weekend where nature, luxury, and seclusion collide, Eagle’s Nest Treehouse is it. You’re far enough from the city to see a sky full of stars but close enough to San Francisco that you can still grab lunch in the city if you feel like it.

@asyatravels Replying to @Jaz Can you believe this unique treehouse is just 90 min from San Francisco? I never heard of it until @Guess Where Trips booked it for our Birds, Breezes & Cheeses trip! [ AD ] It's called Eagle's Nest, located in Sonoma County, and is completely remote and serene. There are lots of hiking trails around and gorgeous nature. The treehouse is fully off the grid but has everything you might need for a stay: electricity, heater, hot water, and a shower and bathroom right inside the house – no need to go out in the middle of the night 😄 If you pick the Birds, Breezes & Cheeses road trip, this treehouse would be right on the way and can be added as the final destination of your trip.
