📍Castle/Heart Lake Trail, CA. Hands down one of my top favorite hikes. My first alpine lake hike that stole my soul. The views are absolutely incredible. It’s a moderate hike with partial tree coverage so it’s HOT. The trail isn’t the most clear so have GPS/Alltails handy. A lot of switchbacks without signage so it’s easy to get turned around. I had to use Alltrails to navigate. A lot of loose scree at the top if you want to view castle (shaped like heart) lake. Worth the extra effort 🌲 #nature #naturelover #hike #forest #alpinelake #lake #explore #mountain #travel #california #beautifulplaces #adventure #hikingadventures #fyp
