this solo glamping trip restored my soul 🌲🧘🏻‍♀️⛺️ @Dawn Ranch . . Believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve ever gone glamping!! I’ve camped in tents, stayed in airbnbs, slept in hotels- but have never glamped before! It has been a bucket list item for me and I’m so glad I finally had the chance to go! This week, I took a solo trip to Guerneville, CA, located in Sonoma County- to glamp at Dawn Ranch! This is just a 1.5 hour drive north of SF/Oakland in the North Bay. When I tell you this place is magical, I am not exaggerating!! This glamp site is cozy and very well thought out. You can stay in a cabin or tent- there’s lots of options to choose from! I stayed in the Glamping Queen which came with a queen sized bed, private bathroom (bougie, I know), and personal outdoor fire pit. My tent was tucked away in the forest, in the back of the property. It was quiet and secluded. The tent may seem simple but it is filled with tons of treats! Specifically- there’s @smegusa fridge with drinks, a @fellowproducts kettle to heat water for tea and coffee, and snacks! The bathroom is also stocked with @lelabofragrances hygiene products. I felt so spoiled! They also have a spa and restaurant on the property! Not only are the accommodations, top notch, but you will have so many amenities at your fingertips! These are all included in your stay. The ones I enjoyed were: 🧘🏻‍♀️ Evening yin yoga & gong bath 🛶 Kayaking along the Russian River 🚲 Bicycling in the redwood forest- Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve is a 15-20 min bike ride away! Also, you will be a couple minute walking distance from Downtown Guerneville! You can walk up and down the street and explore cute shops and restaurants. If you’re looking for the ultimate solo getaway, this is it!
