📍Casa De Fruta Orchards | Hollister, CA 🍎🍦 Who else plans their road trips around unique pit stops? 🙋🏻‍♀️ This place is huge and a must-stop if you’re headed to NorCal. There’s a dine-in restaurant, wine and deli shop, sweets shop and train for kids on the weekends. This campus also has a small inn and RV park on site if you need accommodations. They had a renaissance fair going on when I was visitng too. Seriously as cool place to check out! #norcal#hollisterca#casadefruta#roadtrip#california#traveltiktok

Tucked along Highway 152 near Hollister, Casa de Fruta started as a simple fruit stand over a century ago. Today, it has blossomed into a full-on roadside attraction — a colorful, whimsical wonderland that draws travelers from all over the Golden State.

You’ll find a fruit stand still going strong (hello, juicy cherries and dried apricots!), but that’s just the beginning. There’s a wine tasting room, a full-service restaurant, a classic sweet shop, a mini train ride, and even a vintage carousel. Yep, it’s as delightful as it sounds.

Whether you’re making a quick stop or staying overnight at their RV resort or inn, Casa de Fruta has that special magic that blends nostalgia with unexpected fun.

Why It’s a Must-Visit:

🍑 Fresh fruits, dried goods, and sweet treats galore
🚂 Miniature train rides for kids (and the young at heart)
🍷 Wine tasting with bottles grown from their estate vineyard
🎠 Antique carousel and quirky themed shops
🌳 Shaded picnic spots, perfect for road trip breaks
🏕️ RV park and lodging for those who want to linger a bit longer

Where Playfulness Meets Tradition

Casa de Fruta is more than just a roadside stop—it’s a living slice of California’s old-school charm. From the chug of the train to the scent of fresh pies cooling by the window, it’s a place where you can slow down, snack well, and soak up some joyful nostalgia.

Next time you’re passing through, don’t just drive by—make a memory. 🍒✨
